Up here in British Columbia, it's illegal to drive without insurance... my
b/f just loves to nail people driving with expired tags.... BIIIIG fine, and
the car gets automatically impounded for 30 days.... to get the car back,
you have to pay the towing yard's fee for storing the car for thirty
days.... most people up here figured out by now it's just not worth it to
drive with expired tags.
