Re: Fuel tank draining

Hey, thanks for the tip! Two questions:

First, what about larger chunks? I remember draining the gas from an old
Porsche my dad had and seeing rust flakes up to an inch in diameter. I
know something that big won't get sucked into the system, but what if
they break down into something smaller? Or should I just assume that if
I have something that big, the tank is pretty much a lost cause?

Also, should there be a "step 7" to put a fresh gallon or so of gas in
the tank to purge the fuel lines of any cruddy gas?

I do like this method, as it seems much easier and because I'm inherently
lazy. And since my battery is already mounted in the trunk, I don't have
to worry about steps 1, 4 and 5! ;-)

Thanks a bunch!
