Rick,

The fellow who mounted the rearview mirror in my car used a product made by
LocktiteŽ.  So far it's worked like a charm.  Try it.  The other thing I
have considered doing is using the rearview mirror from a Mk1 rocco or a
corrado.  Haven't had time to try it yet.
