identifying marks, enigine/Tranny..

were would i look to see if the tranny i have in my new rocco is an FF
tranny? and is there anywere that tells me what the engine is. there is a
1.6 above #2 sparkplug but next to it there is a big H, and i thought
someone said along time ago, that the H meant 1.7?
the guy i bought it from didnt know anything about the car, and he said it
had the 1.6, but when i drove it home it had a shit load more power then my
81 with a 1.7?
