A quick question about value

I just spoke to a guy with a 87 16V FS 93 2.0 and trans w/ orig block and
head needs water pump

Spoke to him briefly and it has been sitting a couple months the guy said it
was rough but straight. Not sur about Suroof or power anything but could
anyone give me their opinion on its $ value

It is funny cause I thought he was asking 900 but I confused two ads and he
is looking for 1800 I'm wondering what you guys think
