I think that's a bad idea, not only is it dangerous, but it could bend or
at least stress the trailing arm rear.

They are not going to slide out unless you can somehow heat it up enough
to break the bolt loose from the sleeve, which is pretty tough without
sacrificing the   shock bushing.

If all else fails and you are willing to sacrifice the shock, the shock's
eyelet can be cut off and the shock lifted off, leaving the bushing w/
sleeve and seized lollipop. It gets messy when you cut through the rubber
and then eventually through the sleeve and bolt, but if you are careful
you can save the shock mount on the trailing arm. I make 2 cuts, so that
the remaining parts can be worked out.
