Somebody might have changed the door handle and lock cylinder, and tried
to key it for the old key, but also increased the number of keys that
will work.
To key a door handle lock cylinder; you pull the key out with the lock
cylinder in place and file off any tumblers, that stick out of the
cylinder.
By filing down the tumblers, more keys will fit...
This is a quick and easy fix for a sticking door lock, an unmatched door
key, or if the old cylinder doesn't turn easily in the new door handle.
