loose spark plug

My car started to sound like shit all of a sudden so I opened up the
hood to see what was wrong. It turned out that one of the spark plugs
was loose and it was shaking around along with the cable while I had the
car idling. It was the #1 plug if that matters at all. It's fine now but
I was just wondering if this is a common occurence because I've actually
never seen it happen before. Could it be an indication of something
worse? TIA
