ATF acts more like a hydraulic fluid in in an AT. It's
lubricative qualities are nowhere near that of gear oil. Might as well just save
time and dump some sand in there.
A guy at our shop suggested to me that instead of putting
transmission oil in my tranny just use ATF instead... anyone hear of this or
ever done it before? It's news to me...
