do it yourself. it's really easy if you know how to take your spark plugs 
out. And feel like investing in a comp guage, which is always a good idea 
anyway. Just take the plugs out and screw the comp tester into the spark 
plug holes and crank the engine over with the key and hold the gas pedal to 
the floor. Do this twice b'cause somtimes carbon deposits in the combustion 
chamber inside the engine will be dislodged when you take the plugs out and 
give you inaccurate readings. HTH and GL
