Re: 89' Conquest TSi... anyone know much about/have one?



My neighbor and his GF each have one of these things. They're OK, but I
personally wouldn't buy one.  Now, the auto parts guy's view:

A)If you need engine parts, you're f**ked, or surfing the net and praying.
B)If you need brake parts, you are waiting at least 2 days.
C)When you get said parts, you are going to pay through the ass for them.
(and you think VW parts are expensive?? hah.)

If you really want the thing, go for it, but don't be surprised when
something fails and the thing's off the road waiting for parts. Personally,
I'd keep the Jeep.
