89' Conquest TSi... anyone know much about/have one?

after 14 years of driving a rusted ass oldsmobile my uncle finally bought a
new(used) car...  its a beautiful red conquest TSi (or so i hear from mom)
anyways, he has offered to trade it for my jeep which i am really really
feeling like i might want to do.  anyone know much about these cars?? what
would the performance be like compared to my 87 scirocco 16v??   blow the
doors off or just a slight edge or what?  i definitely wont make any deals
till i get a chance to drive the beast, but i guess its in good condition.
who knows 0-60's or 1/4miles on one of these cars? (starion stats would do
just fine too)
