Re: Progress and loads of questions

I've replaced all the bushings on my shift linkage and the relay lever. This
has reduced fore & aft slop (in gear) from 1 ½" to about ½", but I still
have about 1 ½" of play from side to side. How do I fix that? Do I need to
replace the large ball/socket joint that the gear lever (shifter) sits in?

TIA,

Stuart
