How about this one for all you Physics majors.................

Is there a formula to calculate the potential top speed of any given car?

for instance I own a mk1 with a 2.0 16v and I do know my wheel hp , if I can 
find my coefficient of drag ,frontal area ,and then enter my gearing and tire 
radius could I figure it out . 
The reason I am asking is because I dont own a stop watch and my speedo only 
reads to 100 . 
(plus it gives you "techies" something to think about)
