Re: Stalling Problem

Hello Andy,
I had the same problem on my Mk1, it will be fine and then your idle will
drop like a rock, and the car dies, not to mention the iratic idle
in the first place. This problem haunted me for a while untill
I hunted it down to the fuel pump relay, as did you. I replaced
the relay, the jumper from the relay to the fuse box, and the fuse box
itself, this plus a vacume leak check, aparently fixed the problem,
it hasent happened again.

Good luck,
Nathan
