Hehehehe, you've got a sprint header, correct? One of the fabulous
features of this header is the tendency to make the car absolutely
UNDRIVEABLE in heavy rain and snow. What happens, at least IME, is that
the water/slush/snow gets caked onto/into the end of the O2 sensor, which
supersprint so conveniently located on one of the secondaries pointing
almost straight down at the ground. All the water/slush that ends up on
the downpipe runs down to the end of the O2 sensor, where it shorts the
heater wires against the signal wire. Took me 2 years to figure this out.
The fix? Either unplug the heater wires (2-wire connector just beside the
MC) or drive around at WOT. When you go to full throttle, the computer
stops reading the signal from the O2 sensor and goes to a preset value
instead. I cannot believe the engineers who designed this header (almost
perfectly) could be SO GODDAMNED RETARDED. Bah!!

Hope that helps...
