Re: Oil Pressure Issues



I have had a similar situation.  As it turned out, the problem with with
the oil pressure light itself.  At first I would blip the throttle, and
eventually started smacking  the dash and the light would go off. Bbut it
eventually got to the point where it never shut up (and my hand started
to hurt) so I replaced the instrument cluster.  No problems since. 
Granted, this may not help you, and probably isn't the best approach
(unless you have a oil pressure gauge like I do).  It may not hurt to
check the connections from the sender all the way to the gauge.  These
cars have so many electrical gremlins in them you never know what can
happen...  HTH
