Re: Windshield leak and screwy wiper switch

<x-charset iso-8859-1>I just had this done today!
Got the gasket from AAB for about $30, got an auto glass place to come out
to my mechanics shop (he was working on my rough starting problem) - the
glass shop charged $100. They sanded out the surface rust from a leak and
treated it with a polyurethane, then fitted the windshield with some black
sealant (some of it leaked out a bit) - all in all it looks pretty good. BTW
this was on a Cabriolet, can't remember if the windshield gasket is the same
or not? Sorry if anyone thinks this is OT ;-P
On a separate note it turns out the reason my car was having a terrible time
starting on occassion was that in the fuel pump relay there are a number of
connections (solder points) that have cracked, therefore not always making
contact (there's about 5 cracked points), mechanic thinks thats the reason
anyway and gave me a used relay to run with. Does this sound legit, it seems
to be starting a lot easier now.
