Re: Stumper. WTF. New one to me. Anyone?




i've had this happen to me several times in different vws.
The first time it was the ignition control module (like Mark),
the one right up by the digital idle stabilizer.
Second time was the fuse panel cracked so it would die in turns
(common vw problem).
Most recent time was a bad coil, and nothing else.

I'd say eliminate the coil possibility first.
