No experience with them but what are you referring to as plating?? are we 
talking Chrome or ceramic coating...if we are talking ceramic or thermal 
coating . My answer would be incredible difference in performance...
i have my entire car ceramic coated from Calipers , Slotted rotors, even the 
caliper cylinders and PADS as well (the mounting bracket) exhaust to valve 
cover , oil pan to Crank.... extending the life of everything from wheel 
bearings to tire life (wheels dont transfer the heat as bad now.) to being 
able to touch the top of my motor after a hot run...
