16V cylinder heads

Here's one to get opinions going:

I am building a 2.0l 16V engine for my project car (did you get the Polo in
the US?)

I have available an Audi 2.0 litre engine, a spare VW 1.8 litre (both
K-jet)and the inlet manifold from a 2.0 Motronic engine with electronic
injectors.
My plan is to fit the Motronic manifold to the 2.0 Kjet engine, which should
make good torque, but may loose a little on top end power.

Would I possibly get better results with the 1.8 head on the 2.0 block? How
will the Motronic manifold affect it? Also bear in mind that I will be
playing with cams and reworking the head at some stage. Any recommendations
on cams? (BTW, Schrick are way too expensive here!). It will all be run by
G60 Digifant electronics, not Kjet.
Gearboxes available are 16V, 8V and G60 all from Corrado / A3 Golf.

I have my own ideas on what this combination will achieve, but compared to
you guys, we don't play with the 16V much in the UK! Any more ideas will be
gratefully received.

Or course, all this may be irrelevant because I have a Sprintex supercharger
which will make 2 bar (30psi) of boost and should net about 300bhp. Airflow
becomes less of an issue at this point!

Who thinks what?

Mike
