Re: Replacing Fuel Injector O-Rings



I replaced all four of my injectors recently and the little rubber o-rings.
 They were a @&$# to get out too.  I wound up clamping a set of vice grips
around them and prying them out.  One of my o-rings was so old that it
ripped in half... part stayed on the inector, and part stayed in the head.
I had to fish around to get it out.  The old injectors didn't look damaged
in any way from my vice gripping, so it should be safe to use this method
if neccessary.  Putting the new ones in was a snap... I pushed em down as
far as they would go, and tapped em down into place with a screwdriver and
hammer... They should be good and snug, lest any air get through, and throw
off the mixture... or so, I would assume...
