RE: passing emissions

this isn't for my 16V (i passed with 80ppm..), it's for my GF's corolla.
she is going to sell it and get another car, but she can't afford to
right now, so i need to pass it once more. it's got a carb with a
gazillion vacuum lines, tons of valves, solenoids, actuators, and...get
this.....a temperature sender an O2 sensor! crazy japs... i tried to
adjust it, but it's not adjustable externally(i just need to lean out
the idle). i was contemplating a complete teardown/clean/rebuild, but
i'm deathly afraid of what sort of japanology is hidden inside this
thing. so i need a quick fix short of slipping the guy a $20. i live
in florida. down here, in order to get a new year sticker for your
license, you need to pass the sniffer. no pass, no license.
