Re: exhaust part question, mine broke





Only thing I'd worry about is any outgassing that might affect the O2
sensor. Check to see if the stuff is O2 sensor safe.

There is another kind that you might consider. Normally I'd not go this
route, you say it'll only be in place a few months, so...


There are these Hi temp bandage type exhaust fix it type packages. The
seem to come with a liquid you mix to activate the hardener and then dip
the gauze type material in it and then wrap it on while it's still
flexible.

I used this on an old Audi I had and added a Sapporo beer can with hose
clamps for good measure. (It was the beefiest thing available, and had
the right reducing dimension as well. Tasty too :)

In any case, you might do them both, the JB and the wrap on stuff. Or
not.
