no rocco, now intelligence and experience

I think it's nothing about Shawn IQ, this mean I don't say weather he has high/low or is smart/dumb or I agree with him or not, but having much time with cars, even in a real race team gets you experience.

If you then don't stand seing totally incorrect things you have to word up.

After taking one mkI and two mkII completly too pieces, two cars built up again and lots of diging into friends Sciroccos I swear I can identify every part of a Scirocco except some 16V specific parts and internal gear box parts by only feeling the part blindfolded.

This isn't done by intelligence, it's done by experience.
