Re: sunroof crank hangs down



I replaced my broken spring with a piece of thick paper clip about a year
ago, and it's working well.  It's starting to sag, so I need to open it
back up and adjust it again, but it was a good fix (and cheap, considering
you can't get just the spring from the dealer, and the handle assy is like
$60).
Just get a piece of metal and bend it into the S-shape that the original
spring was in, shove it in, and you're done...
