Having just done this a few weeks ago, just pulling the lower rad hose
will not fully drain the system.  Also pull the thermostat right-angle
flange from the bottom of the waterpump, and pull the hose that
attaches to the end of the long metal coolent tube that runs from
about the firewall, down the side of the head, over the transmission,
and makes a turn towards the waterpump.  You'll find it.
