I'm with ya all the way brother.. don't forget the extra unsprung weight
you haul around with bigger wheels (unless you spring for some BBS RCs or
other ultra-lightweight wheel - not likely on a 'roc).  My rule of thumb
is that I always go +1 over factory, but never +2 - too extreme for me.

I just put 17x7.5's on my GTI (which are now 16 from the factory), thought
I'd never own a 17 inch anything, other than the one-eyed trouser trout I'm
packing in my 501s....    :o
