Re: GTX - a few questions

1. chrome paint's probably worn off. I've only ever seen black or
silver ones, apart from the odd one that looked like it had been
oversprayed with another colour.
2. All depends on what sort of alarm you have. Find out what it is,
with a model number if possible, and try calling one of the shops -
Hannah in Glasgow are pretty good. If it is a common or newish model
they can probably tell you straight off.
3. I've never bothered trying to change the bulbs any way other than by
taking the whole cluster out of the dash. If it is the bulb for the
clock, you might be able to get it out by removing the driver's side
shelf and under-dash panel: if you get your head under the dash and have
a look with a flashlight you might be able to see the bulb holder, but
they are a pain to remove and even more of a pain to refit if you don't
have good access.

good luck,

Ewan.
