I meant that I replaced just the speedo in the cluster.  I have a large amount
of experience in taking them apart and putting them back together again. And they
still work after that. :-)

Happens sometimes I suppose...

The speedo is mostly separate from the rest of the cluster.  It can be removed and
replaced with another one designed for that cluster style with relative ease.  Like I
said before, see my web page for details on taking them apart and breaking them down
if anyone needs more info.  You should be able to handle with no problems.
