I saw a yellow Bug 4x4 a few years ago at a (cover your eyes Scott
Williams) NASCAR race in Talledega.  It looked like they used a Jeep frame
and it had a V8 in the front.  It also had a bunch of 2" or so holes
drilled in the lower part of the hood for airflow to the radiator.  It
actually looked decent, quality work.
