Ahhh!  Is this a common symptom of of a bad front motor mount?  I'm
very careful to let off the gas in my car *slowly*, because if I go
quickly from accelerating to coasting, the car always bucks a little.

Am I also right that you can't necessarily tell the condition of a
motor mount just by looking at it?  You might just have to take the
plunge and replace one/all if you have symptoms like mine?
