Re[2]: Rims



The larger wheels look good, but from my experience, I am faster on the 
stock wheels.

When I ordered my tires/rims from Tire Rack a couple of years ago, they 
discouraged me from getting anything larger then 195/50's on a 15" rim.
I experience only a slight rubbing problem at full right turn lock, which 
I hit rarely.  Anyway, I've heard that if you go any wider then 205 (and 
some manufacturers 195's are really close to 205's), you will need a
rim offset of 38 (ET number) or more.  I really like the performance and 
looks of the 195/50's on my 16v.  You're milage, could of course vary.
