Report on Turbo Scirocco..

I called the guy with the '82  turbo scirocco, and he said that it was no
longer for sale b/c the problem he had was less then he anticipated.  The
turbo was putting out 4 PSI Boost, rather then calloway's intended 8.  The
system was only designed to produce somewhere around 120 HP, and it was
installed immediatly prior to purchase (originaly.)  The car has 60k miles on
it but >all< the gaskets were leaking.  The guy was about it do a big rebuilt
and increase the boost to 10-15 PSI.
If anyone is really interested, hes thinking of selling it when he's exactly
sure of why the turbo is only putting out 4psi.
