This is best evaluated by a qualified body shop. The damage you describe is
not necessarily the kiss-of-death for the car, but should be repairable. Are
you the original owner? If not, there could have been a prior collision of
some kind that you weren't told about. Could be stress, though, too. Without
seeing it myself it's hard to say what the cause was. Have a GOOD body shop
check it out, they'll be able to tell you what it would cost to repair the
damage.
