While we're on the theft prevention thread, I recall awhile back the
industry came out with a smoke bomb gizmo.  If you tried to start the
car without the right key or if it was being stolen (steering column
tampered with), the bomb would go off and last about 30 minutes or so,
making the car impossible to drive.  Only drawback was they could snatch
your wheels and the thing wouldn't go off :)
