Ya know, I read somewhere that most of this kind of stuff counts on the 
fact that MOST people don't bother to properly maintain their vehicle
I.E.  A new stock set of wires/plugs/cap/rotor would probably made more power

Guess they didn't take into account that us VW people LIKE to keep our 
cars running in top order.....
