Thats because for autox rules, its got the most HP/Torque that a Scirocco 
ever had in an 8V format. So finding a MK-I Scirocco and throwing in the JH 
is perfectly legal and also very easy to do. Theres no mods to do with the 
motor for it to work.

This should be the RD motor that came on the Golf GTi's and Jetta's. These 
were never in US model Scirocco's. If you were to install one, you would have 
to install the knock sensor to get all of the 100hp out of it. A little more 
complicated but needed to get max performance.

The difference is the JH is a 8.5-1 and the RD is 10-1 compression 
respectively. 
There are other differences as well, but basically the same engine.
