Not true, bench bleeding doesnt prevent premature wear of the MC, what it does 
do is makes it a bit easier (for those with a bench vise and other tools) to 
bleed the MC before its installed. (One man job -VS- a two man job.)  Once you 
install that bad boy, you pretty much need a second person to pump the pedal 
while you do the handy work on the MC. 

The entire brake bleeding task is something that can be done by one person. If 
you have the luxury of having a second person help (And not bitch about when 
are you gonna be done because dinner is READY...) out with the car, then its 
that much easier. (Teamwork would be involved but who knows..)
