warholesque Scirocco I featured in European car about 4 years ago, and

SUSPENSION
Bilstein Sport struts and shocks with TMC coils. Front wheel camber is
1.9 degrees negative.  
Bars: 19 mm forward mounting front sway bar, Autotech sub-frame
connector, Neuspeed upper strut tie bar and triangulated rear shock tower
bar, 17mm rear sway bar, H&H Specialties 38mm trailing arm bar and a
custom ten-point Autopower roll cage.
Polyurethane Bushings: Front sway bar, upper strut bearings, control
arms, steering rack, rear axle beam and rear shock towers.

ENGINE
Balanced 1.8 Liter: 81.5 mm Mahle pistons, Deves rings, Kolbenschmidt
bearings, 86.4mm crankshaft.  '82 Scirocco ignition and fuel delivery
system including large air flow sensor, fuel pump and accumulator. 
Modified air box and K&N air filter and oil breather, Neuspeed
throttlebody, Neuspeed 268ƒ hydraulic camshaft, enlarged and match ported
intake and exhaust manifold, ported and polished hydraulic head: 40mm
intake and 33 mm exhaust.  Custom intake manifold, custom European
exhaust manifold, custom Techtonics 2" stainless steel exhaust (exits
before driverís side rear wheel through Dynomax muffler with ceramic heat
shield next to gas tank).  
Polyurethane front motor mount, VW Motorsport high density motor mounts
remaining elsewhere.  Modified coolant routing.  Earlís 14 row oil cooler
with Autotech thermostatic sandwich plate adapter and stainless steel
braided lines. 

TRANSMISSION
Type FN 020 gear box with the following ratios: 3.45, 1.94, 1.29, .91 &
.711 Final Drive: 3.89.
12 lb. flywheel, 200 mm Sachs clutch. 
Fluids: Trick 100 octane fuel, Spectro molybdenum grease packed bearings
and steering rack, synthetic gear oil 75W 90 and motor oil 5W 30, Castrol
GTLMA brake fluid.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Simpson 5 point harness: 3" wide shoulder and lap belts, 2"
anti-submarine belt. Momo driverís seat mounted to Recaro sliding seat
bracket. Padded Autotech roll cage with Halon 2.5 lb. fire extinguisher
mounted to roll cage cross bar and Simpson driverís window net.  Three
rear Lexan windows with aluminum safety strips.  Custom tow bar (doubles
as tow hook and replaces front bumper).  Battery remotely mounted next to
driver on floor in box with external ground cut-off switch.  Autotech
close ratio steering rack.
Brakes: Front: cross drilled and ventilated 10.1 in. diameter with
stainless steel braided lines and metallic pads.
Rear: 7.1 in. diameter drums with organic shoes.

RIMS and TIRES
7J X 15 í91 Corrado BBS ëmesh styleí wheels with BBS lugs
Yokohama A-008RS tires 195 50 ZR 15

COSMETICS
Multicolor paint with vinyl adhesive numbers, Zender front spoiler. 
Removed all nonessential wiring, interior panels, door windows, frames
and hardware. Autotech dead pedal.  Front lights and fixtures removed
(Brake lights are the only existing and functioning lights).  No head
liner, no wiper assembly, no heater, no console and custom Lexan dash
panel with no dash board.  VDO Gauges: Tachometer, Oil Pressure, Manifold
Vacuum, Water Temperature, Oil Temperature, Gas Level and Voltage. 

This vehicle is race prepared and is not street legal.  It is intended
for off-road use only, therefore it is not registered and will not pass
smog as is.  Comes with tow bar, safety chains and extra parts.   Price:
