Unfortunately, I've heard this story before - PP has a bad reputation. The
newsgroup is a great place to get the (biased) lowdown on various mail
order houses - I am sure each and every one has has some lousy
transactions, but PP has had more than their fair share!

I have had great luck with Velocity Sport Tuning - they've always been
prompt and courteous for me. 310/643-0005. I believe they do sell stock
parts - I am sure they can get injectors.

Mike Potter should insert a shameless plug here, as the proprietor of
Virtual World Parts. I've never dealt with Mike, although I believe I
spoke with him while he was at Timmons - very knowledgeable and well
informed. He has something of a legacy behind him as _the_ guy with lots
of potentially useless VW trivia, but if you need to know which
disgronifier came on what Scirocco, he'll know, plus the part number, dry
weight, shipping weight and who manufactured it. Many people have had good
luck with him, AFAIK.

Who's the other - Adirondack Auto Brokers. People here can give you their
number - I see that name floating around here frequently. Mark is the
guy's name. A friend once bought calipers from him, and while they showed
up on time, they were mismatched - one bad experience should not IMHO rule
them out, heck, it was not until we tried to put the calipers on the car
that we figured it out, the caliper bolts were two different sizes(the
smooth bolts which the caliper slides on). He has a very good rep, also,
but when I need something, I call Velocity first - sorry Mike and Mark,
they got me:), and when the day comes that VST does not have what I need,
I'll call Mike, then Mark.

Best of luck!

I.Mannix(fortunate to have a really good import parts store in town, so my
needs in stock parts are often met locally....)
