OK, removal of stripped bolts -101-.

Now that you have got 3 of the 4 bolts off, have you tried to rotate the
whole TB in a counter clockwise rotation? This should break loose the
bolt. If it doesn't, then it should eat up enough of the gasket to lessen
the torque on the bolt to get it off. Work on it a few times and see what
that does for you.
Take a rubber mallet and tap on the base of the TB until it gets loose.
This method should work nicely for you.

The second option you have is to take a hacksaw and cut a slot in the
head of the bolt. Then you can use a screwdriver to remove the bolt. This
method works better with screws but ive successfully used it on bolts as
well. Id use this one last if at all possible.

Third, you can use a set of vice grips to get a firm hold on the bolt and
break the torque. I've had to use this method on one TB in my lifetime,
every other time the bolts just came loose.

Lastly you can drill out the head of the bolt. Use a drill bit about the
same size as the shaft of the bolt. Then drill out the head until the
head falls off. Be carefull not to drill too deep as you will want enough
of the bolt to remain after the head is gone so you can get a set of vice
grips or pliers, whathaveyou on the bolt to remove it. Once the TB is
removed, you can probably remove the bolt by hand. At least that is what
my experience's has been.
Hopefully you have kept a couple of the bolts from the donor TB to use in
the event of one or two stripped bolts??

Say, you never did say what happened to the exhaust manifold
installation. How did it fare the?
