No this not the same. In Europe you can turn on the lamps when you need
them.
The bulbs are brighter than you would want  for full time use.
The drill out is an extension of the tail light however the plastic is cut
different on the left side
so that it is directional tward the driver of the car behind. Drill out is
the poor man's Kinda tail fog.
Ilias has the real thing, he just needs to wire it up.
