Do these kits just glue over the stock sheetmetal? I've never seen one -
I guess the winters around here are a bit too much for custom work to
be popular.

I have to wonder whether there is any down side to a kit like this - like
will it trap road crud up against the metal body and rot out faster than
a stock body?
