Finally I can answer this. When I was looking through the paper work
after buying my 85 a few months ago I came across the original window
sticker. Here's the details for my 85 Wolfsburg:

MSRP 10,980.00
BLACK PAINT N/C
UNIQUE CLOTH SPORT SEATS N/C
CRUISE CONTROL WITH RESUME FEATURE 200.00
SUNROOF - MANUAL, TILT + SLIDE 450.00

A/C, PWR STG, REAR WIPER/WASHER, DIGITAL AM/FM CASSETTE, & SPECIAL
5.5Jx13 ALLOY WHEELS all no charge (part of Wolfsburg package)

FACTORY INSTALLED OPTIONS AND ACC 650.00
DESTINATION CHG 320.00

TOTAL $11,950.00

I rtyped that verbatim from the right side of the window sticker. I
thought it was really nice that VW didn't charge extra for the paint
:)

Now for the specific Wolfsburg items, as I promised to post:
WOLFSBURG LIMITED EDITION FEATURING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
-A/C
-PWR STG
-REAR WINDOW WIPER/WASHER
-DIGITAL AM/FM STEREO CASSETTE RADIO WITH ELECTRONIC TUNING
-CASSETTE STORAGE TRAY (this is under the radio)
-SPECIAL 5.5Jx13 ALLOY WHEELS
-UNIQUE CLOTH SPORT SEATS WITH LEATHERETTE BOLSTERS
-FOLDING REAR BENCH SEAT
-COLOR COORDINATED BUMPERS AND MIRROR HOUSINGS

Again this was typed verbatim, except for my note on the tape tray.

Finally, here's the standard features:

-1.8 LITER FUEL INJECTED ENGINE
-5-SPEED CLOSE RATIO TRANSMISSION
-FULLY INDEPENDENT PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION WITH FRONT AND REAR
STABILIZER BARS
-POWER VENTILATED DISC/DRUM BRAKES
-STEEL BELTED RADIAL TIRES
-FULL INSTRUMENTATION INCLUDING TACHOMETER, COOLANT TEMPERATURE
GAUGE AND DIGITAL CLOCK
-TINTED GLASS
-LARGE REAR DECK SPOILER
-ELECTRIC REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER
-ELECTRIC REMOTE CONTROL OUTSIDE MIRRORS (HEATABLE)
-MULTI-STEP RUST PROTECTION

Also, the EPA mileage ratings:

CITY 24
HIGHWAY 29

That's all folks! Not too shabby for $350, wouldn't you say? Now
I've got to rest my fingers:)
