forget the lite help......

Sorry guys.....I jumped the gun a bit with that post for help.  If I 
would have simply got out my test lite and probed around, I could 
have saved a bit of time and bandwidth.  

It appears that it IS the switch.  It's getting power and I figured 
which were the headlites (which work) and there are 3 wires coming 
out that don't work no matter how the switch is positioned.  There's
still one wire that comes on with the ignition I haven't figured out, 
but I'll sit down with the Bentley's tonite and see if I can decipher 
it :)

I just wanted to get this out so I didn't cause anyone undo hardship.
I apologize for posting before I thoroughly checked out the problem.
Now I just have to wait for Monday to get a switch.  Anyone have any 
idea what VW might rock me?
