While were on the topic of the little light, how about some info for those
who dont know. If you already know this, sorry for the dull words to follow.
(Im in a chatty mood)
The little led for the OX sensor is set in the little box described earlier
to go off every 30,000 miles. The cool part is, for those unlucky enough to
have a odometer quit working (Due to the little plastic gear failing. It
happens) they note when the led goes off and thats how one can tell of the
mileage. A good friend and fellow autoxer Randy Walters (Drives a Golf GTi,
Booooo!!) has got over 220,000 miles on his racer and knows this by the led
going off.
When you do go to press the white button, use a #1 flat tip or phillips scre
driver so you can press it all the way in to shut off the light. Some people
will press it while dinking around with the car and not even know that you
gotta press it in FAR to get it to reset!
Class dismissed..... Yeah!!!!!!
