Do you mean the brake lites are brighter than the tail lites? I've 
noticed that too, I believe OEM uses higher wattage or tail lens have 
less tinting (brake lites have a bright pinkish color). Lemme no.

The halogens are advertised as reverse lites but are interchangeable with 
brakes or tail and expensive. I tried them and think 
they are a waste of money! Tested them at night before and after with no 
noticeable difference. Plus they burned out after a year. Best bet would 
be to source a higher wattage regular bulb. Are these available? And yes 
the halogens are advertised as higher wattage.
