FW: A1 headlights

Hi hon....

Check in the box that has the heater/vent control switch (it's a square 
brown box with VW markings, and is ripped open on top) I had some switches 
and steering column electronics at one time, and I might have shoved them in 
there.  I'll also root around back here, I never throw stuff out, so might 
be able to find them.

Did you pull off the connector at the column and jumper it ?

I don't think it's a bad ground, I already bagged one of those.

ps. Make sure that you're using those last pages (labelled 80 Scirocco) in 
the Bently, since it is different from the others.

pps. You did say that the high beams come on when you hold the switch in 
right ?

I have a 1980 scirocco and just recently the darned brights
stopped working.  When I try to click to the brights my headlights
shut off completly and only parking lights remian lit.  The dims work
fine its just the brights.  I am tired of freaking out the drives in
front of me please help?!?
