You dont say. What kind of "higher" final drive do you have?

Oh, so you dont actually have the cam then. So its a stock cam. Ok, thats
cool.
Impressive. you have modified nothing more than a TT exhaust and you go 130
mph?? Of course your talking about a hill assisted 130, right?? (and what a
hill it must be!) Heres my stats:

I have an 82' Scirocco GTi with 158,000 miles A/C, P/M P/W

Neuspeed Sport lowering springs
Neuspeed swaybars 22mm/F and 28mm/R
Neuspeed upper and lower stress bars
Eurosport rear upper stressbar
KYB struts front. (hate them!)
European Bumpers Front/Rear
ABD 3 position shortshift kit with the weighted shift rod. (AKA Corndog)
Stainless steel braded brake lines on all 4 wheels.
Forodo brake pads. (On solid front rotors. Keeps me in DSP too)
Thermostated 10 row Oil Cooler
Swiss cheezed air box
3" intake tube (custom made)
Tetonics 2" stainless system from the cat back
Diesil Exhaust manifold
Custom made dual downpipe with the Ox mount
SACHS clutch
K&N air filter
HOR G-grind cam (keeps me in DSP)
Recaro seats from 91' GTi
SCHROTH Rallye 4 Harness Belts (driver and passenger, Blue)
Street wheels are 5X7 Motoring Exponents "ZONE" wheels with Dunlop cheapies
195/50R15
Race wheels (SCCA class DSP) are 13X6 "Laguna's" (Pannasport look-a-likes. 7
spoke) with Yokohama A008RSII 205/60R13's
I've also added a 120 mph spedo. (I want a 140 mph spedo since i've pegged
the 120 already.)
16V rear antenna
Tinted the windows
84' Scirocco rear spoiller
newer fuel distributor (80mm)
Fresh Miata Blue paint with Silver racing stripes
Engine is a 1.8L code JH from a Rabbit GTi
Tranny is a FF code tranny.

.071 5th gear. HP willing the numbers say I can do 168 mph at 6,250 rpms. But
I dont have nowhere near the HP to push it that fast on a straight line.

More realistically, I can do 120 mph on a straight line. No drafting.

Hill assisted, I can run past where my 120 mph spedo says I can go, as I have
said before. The spedo peggs out at about where the 130 mph would be but I
dont know how fast the car has run. I need aither a radar gun, or a 140 mph
spedo. If you know anybody from the Muchen car club who drives a Miata Blue
Rabbit GTi, he can tell you I go faster than 130 since he couldnt catch up
with me on the way to the Autotech car show........... Thats another story.
Street racing is wrong! If you gotta race, Autocross, Time Trial, Drag Race
or some other form of legal racing is the only way to do it. With that, my
sermon is finished......
